Licinia fae Lucon is the beautiful, fortunate daughter of Praefectus Licinius fae Lucon and Decemvir Caecillia eir Aulus and thus was born into Senate life and raised with politics in her blood. As she grew into a young woman she found a wellspring of support for her ambition, not only on account of her name but on account of the powerful Patronage of her Uncle, the hateful Lord Quaestor Neratius het Lucon. Neratius worked hard alongside Licinia's father to instil in her the tenets upon which the Lucon family had survived and thrived all those years in the chill of Northern Ilsabard.After graduating from academia Licinia was brought swiftly into the civil service and from there she was soon appointed to serve in the Senate. Before long, Licinia was introduced to the Optimates faction and made it her political home.

Licinia's rapid rise saw her accompany Emperor Varis as part of the diplomatic contingent to the Ghimlyt Dark, where she became separated from the other diplomats under "mysterious" circumstances. She survived thanks to the intervention of a young, unknown combatant, only to find herself in Werlyt not long after, witnessing the fall of the Empire from afar.After being spirited away into anonymity in foreign lands, Licinia has since returned to Garlemald to resume her role in the Interim Government. Time has changed the views she once held dear and challenged her beyond even indoctrination. It remains to be seen if her vision for the future will rally the remaining Garlean populace into action.

If you see her you can speak to her, she won't bite! She's not allowed to.‣ Soldiers on both sides who fought at the Ghimlyt Dark might well recognise her as having been a member of the Emperor's entourage when she attended as a representative of the Senate.
